Day 9 - Capilano RV Park - Vancouver BC

We had a very laid back day today. We did some much needed laundry then went for a walk aroung the RV Park and then headed to Vancouver at about 11.45.

We found this snow bunny whilst walking around the RV park...a bit different to the ones back home!

You can just see the steam coming from the Hot Tub where we whiled away an hour last night.

A beautiful Blue Jay bird at the RV park

I couldn't resist this one...someone's sense of humour (it is only October!)

These are an example of the '5th wheel' as they're called and the 'truck' is the vehicle they use to move it! WOW!

Scenery on the way out of Bridal Falls

and yes! there are actual Bridal Falls - although they were very sedate because of the time of the year

another example of a Home on wheels

We stopped at Chilliwack but found very little to stop for - so got back on the road. Unfortunately it rained from then on. We stopped at Fort Langley for lunch and then headed to our final resting place in Vancouver. The traffic was unbelievable coming into Vancouver, but we got there...filled the Motor home up with fuel then booked in. We then spent an hour on the internet deciding what to do next. We decided on catching the bus - so tomorrow night will be a big night! Caught up on some emails and then had our last home cooked dinner for a while and packed. It's now 8.30pm and we're ready for a cuppa and off to bed. The RV Park here is not very nice - pretty sad really when we've seen such spectacular sights. Our last night in the Motorhome boo hoo!
