Day 17 New York - Dekover B&B Brooklyn to Niagra, Ontario, Canada

We set the alarm for 6am and we were up and at 'em. We were collected at 7.30am and taken to the airport. When we got in the plane we were told that it was foggy in Buffalo and we had to wait while the fixed instruments needed to land us there. Luckily it was only about 20 mins wait. We then flew Jetblue - who are like Virgin Blue - and the crew were good fun. We arrived in Buffalo - not having a clue where to go or what to do. Eventually we got on a local bus that took us to Greyhound where we bought tickets to Niagara Falls, Ontario. A lady we chatted with sent us to information where we found that for .75c we could catch the local bus to Niagra Falls, New York and walk over the bridge to Canada. What a bridge walk that was....the views! Niagara Falls are awesome.

These are our first views of Niagara

Then some of the gorgeous gardens surrounding the Falls.

Because of our luggage we decided to catch a cab to the Hilton and we were in for such a thrill.
I would have LOVED to book a falls view room - but just couldn't bring myself to spend the money. It's Thanksgiving day here and when I chatted with the young guy on check-in he said - as a Thanksgiving gift - he'd upgraded us to a 'Jacuzzi room!'....then we arrivedin our room to find we had a Falls view!

Here's Gra enjoying the view

And one of our room - note the shutters between the bed and bathroom open. It was so open and lovely to enjoy a spa and not be closed into a bathroom!

I felt SO happy and SO blessed - only God could orchestrate something like this for us! Thank YOU Lord! I didn't want to leave the room it is so beautiful!!! I even unpacked for the first time in 7 days! Anyway we went for a brief walk and found a lovely place for dinner - then came home, made calls and emailed - had a Jacuzzi and off to bed!
