Day 20 - Toledo to Chicago

Wow - today has been nothing short of a blur! We stayed on the train until about 7.30am - oh and when we got of the train and went to collect our luggage I noticed that 1 piece was missing (I got nervous about what the horrible man back at Buffalo had done when he'd been so nasty about my luggage!) so I mentioned it to one of the staff who quickly got on a cart and drove to the luggage carriage (just as it was leaving) and managed to stop the train and get the luggage off - not sure what would have happened if it had stayed on.....don't even want to think about it! We then caught a bus from Toledo to Detroit - then we caught 2 buses to 'Warren' in Detroit where we collected the Drive away car we had organised...oh and by the way - the walk from the bus stop to the location of the car - with all our luggage had to be seen and experienced to be believed! It was HARD work! We didn't fully know where we were going which didn't help.
The vehicle was a Pontiac Grand Prix. It was a great car. We drove 5 hours to Chicago but we were just exhausted. We should have just stayed on the train in the end it was so comfortable and great. Anyway, we arrived at Jay and Helena's .....

at about 5pm (would have been 9.30am if we'd stayed on the train!). It was SO lovely to see them and Jazz is to die for! .....

We went out for dinner then Jay and Helena went to see Sunny together and we looked after Jazz. Funny thing was I think Jay and Helena were so excited to be going to see Sunny together (Jazz isn't allowed in because of any 'germs' she may carry) that they didn't tell me much at all about what to do and they didn't leave details of where they were. Luckily, of course, I didn't need them anyway. Gra went to bed early and I kept Jazz awake just enjoying this precious little girl.
